The first beta version of PrestaShop v.1.3 is now available.

This new version includes the latest corrections made to PrestaShop since last week, including:

- Significant corrections on CSV import feature
- Ability to add javascript in text fields via TinyMCE
- Fixed search by tags
- Corrections on PaypalAPI and Moneybookers modules
- Stock management for products packs
- Display of the client's address state on the order summary page
- Fixed quantity discounts without taxes
- Inability to remove the last subdomain

We moved our server to another. So it can be some problems to access to PrestaPortal in some days.
New server is located in UK.

One week after the release of PrestaShop v.1.3 alpha 2, several new bugs have been fixed, among them:

* Products indexation optimized
* Fixed a bug on "Mailalert" module, which sent twice an email alert with bad stock quantities
* Fixed a bug on the order page details page when using coupons
* Fixed an error in the currency on referral program module
* Improved the search engine in the Back Office
* Fixed a problem on the installer encountered with Internet Explorer
* Updating employees permissions is now compatible with Internet Explorer

The new alpha version of PrestaShop v.1.3 is now available. New bugs of the alpha 1 have been fixed since last week, including:

* Saving the client address now only in the "cart"
* Removed the mention of the amount to reach for obtaining the free postage in the case of virtual products
* Ajout d'un "avertissement" sur le module PayPal, lorsque l'installation de la boutique est en local
* Fixed a problem encountered on the form fields for adding / editing products on all browsers except Mozilla Firefox
* Fixed SSL authentification for SMTP servers in Swift
* Fixed a problem on the link "View all images" on the product page
* On the order.php page, the cart is no longer in Ajax to update the shopping cart page and simultaneously order.php
* Fixed functionality clients’ groups’ carriers that did not work
* Fixed payment modules by check and bankwire that, when selecting the currency did not convert the amounts
* A user can now edit its tax identification number
* New characters allowed in passwords
* Fixed module “product tooltip” that did not work with Internet Explorer and that prevented the display of a product page

This week, several modifications have been made on the SVN version of PrestaShop.

* Added the ability to integrate or not all the CMS pages in the sitemap
* Fixed a bug in the import CSV with tagged products
* Better errors management with images in the CSV import
* Fixed a bug in the installer encountered with PHP 5.3.1
* Fixed a problem with price conversion in the PayPal payment module
* Fixed a bug in the product page with thumbnails, when Jqzoom is on
* Fixed a bug when installer is called directly by the index.php file of it (. / Install / index.php)
* Management of special characters in URL rewriting
* Fixed a bug in the order detail in the Back Office when products have custom fields
* Fixed the invoices generation when taxes are disabled
* Fixed URL rewriting with the addition of EAN13 product code in the module “ProductsCategory “
* Correction of the method noPackPrice () which did not take into account when taxes are excluded
* Improved method array_walk () of CSV import
* The loyalty module now takes into account promotional timing of products

We received many positive feedbacks about PrestaShop v.1.3 alpha 1, despite a few bugs that will be quickly corrected.

To date, this alpha version has been downloaded more than 20.000 times, in addition to the daily downloads of PrestaShop v.1.2.5!

The entire team thanks all those who have tested this new version, and who have shared their comments, allowing us to advance the solution.

See below the list of the corrections made on PrestaShop v. 1.3 alpha 1 since its publication:

* New feature that disables AJAX search if the module "block search" is removed from Header hook to avoid Javascript errors on Front Office
* Fixed a bug on quantities of ordered products in the module MailAlert "
* Delete the file zoom.php, no longer used
* Addition of retroactivity for custom themes as a result of changes related to the quantities of products in the cart - $ product.quantity variable.
* Converted all files to UNIX format
* Improved cart performance
* The deleted users no longer appear in groups
* Fixed the validation method isBirthDate ()

The PrestaShop team is pleased to announce the release of its e-commerce software 1.3 alpha 1 version! Discover in this article a complete report about the novelties this new version contains, among the new modules, new PrestaShop partnerships, and new software features.

Please note, this version is an alpha one, this means that this is not yet considered as being stable, following the addition of many new features, and this should not be used in production.
New features

Here are the new features included in PrestaShop, noteworthy among the many added:

- The test of the mail server configuration via the Back Office

The latest version of PrestaShop (v.1.2.5) containing only security updates, this list of corrections includes the ones made on PrestaShop v.1.2.4.

- Bugs encountered on private categories, which were displayed in the shop (blocks...)
