Help with Couple of Things

Hey guys,

I couldn't find an appropriate "I'm new and need some help" forum category so I am posting it here with hopes that the Mods move it to the right spot.

First, very new to Prestashop (like as in hours) so hello to you all.

Next, the issues...

ISSUE #1:
I followed the directions found over on the forums at Prestashop to add an image to your manufacturers pages however I seem to be getting a single character below the image itself.

ISSUE #2:
Is there a way I can show a description to the right of the manufacturers images? A lengthy description.

Essentially my potential client is selling small made handcrafted goods by "Masters" and wants to be able to display a picture and description of each manufacturer as well as tell a little bit about their products etc.

Maybe someone already has a TPL made up for this they could shoot over?

First issue - as this letter changing as we changing the language, then its something wrong with code. But I don't understanding right now, what. Can You show this part of code, what You add?

Second thing - its need also additional hack like the first thing what You add. We need to add some extra field to database and also to template files, to get this information block. Right now by default, Presta doesn't has this feature.
