This module allows you to rearrange your categories and products. A column "position" is added to the Table category.
It goes without saying that to display your categories in the order chosen you need to change the ORDER BY clauses of queries that will search categories:

GetCategories and getSubCategories in classes / category.php and the module blockcatagories if you use it.

Once installed, this module is available from the Catalog tab of the admin interface.

You can change the width of the container (admin.css) to do a little more room at the table.
